The Jazz Phools take GulfPort by Storm!

The Jazz Phools' band leader, Jay Leaman says ”The Jazz Phools are devoted to the energetic performance of hot jazz of the 20’s and 30’s, Dixieland, and swing standards, all delivered with vintage flair.” And that pretty much sums up the evening - energetic, jazzy, full of flair (not just pieces of it) and, HOT!

But not too hot. The AC and ventilation at Scout Hall was quite effective. It was cool enough to dance all night without getting too too heated. And - Bri and I are looking into more cooling and ventilation options. Soon you'll say that Deco Dance Tampa throws the coolest dances of all and you'll mean it literally.
If any of you who attended loved the Phools so much that you'd like to hear them again, (or if you're heartbroken because you weren't there and can't wait to hear them next), you can find more information at their very own website - http://www.thejazzphools.com .
I really want to thank Arvin Charles of Arvin Charles Photography for capturing some lovely and artistic images of this event and the beautiful venue. I'm including a few of these shots here. Please use the comments to tell me, and the world which are your favorites.
Till soon,
That Dance Guy
